I’ll get to know your software and services
My favorite aspect of working with new businesses is getting to know their products and testing them.
You need documentation and content that will drive leads (through search engines or other channels).
I become familiar with your products so you can focus on continuing to improve them, while I provide your business with that documentation.
I know WordPress in and out
Did you know that WordPress websites make up for around 43% of all existing sites? About 20% of all those sites use Elementor. Around half of WordPress websites use an outdated version of PHP, which makes them vulnerable. Most users average over 10 plugins on their sites even though they don’t use most of them. The biggest vulnerability for WordPress websites are outdated plugins and, sometimes, I miss the Classic Editor even though blocks are fantastic.
I’ve worked with WordPress for over a decade. If you offer WordPress-related products and services, chances are that I’m familiar with your product, even if we haven’t worked together yet. I may have even written about your products.
I’ve also had the privilege of seeing how some of the biggest WordPress businesses operate, right from their admin dashboards. With that experience, I can adapt to your WordPress workflow quickly.
I can publish under a pseodonym (or another type of ghostwriting arrangement)
I don’t require a byline (but they’re always welcome!). We can publish the content you need under your name to help you grow authority.
You know your industry and I can help you communicate that through blog posts, tutorials, editorials, and product comparisons under your name, as well as other types of content.
I’ll adapt to your style and voice
I adapt my writing style to what you need. If you need me to explain complex topics or write tutorials that your grandmother can follow (as long as she knows how to use a mouse).
I can also write content for more advanced audiences with a background in web development, design, digital marketing, and SEO.
You have a brand voice or style and it’s my job to adapt to it. If you don’t know what your brand voice should be, I’ll help you figure it out.
I’ll collaborate remotely with your team
I’ve been working remotely since before most people knew it was an option.
With over ten years of experience collaborating with remote teams, I’m capable of onboarding quickly so as not to disrupt operations and deadlines.
I can (and do) meet deadlines
Unlike Douglas Adams, I don’t enjoy the whooshing sound of deadlines as they fly by.
You set the deadline and (if it’s realistic), I’ll meet it. If the deadline isn’t achievable, for any reason, I’ll discuss it with you at the planning stage (not at the last minute).
I can adapt to your SEO requirements
If you have strict SEO guidelines you like to follow, I’ll adapt to them. If you’re not quite sure what to do in terms of SEO, I can take care of keyword research, topic planning and scheduling, and even accompanying graphics.
I can also help you set up an analytics solution for your WordPress website if you want to monitor its traffic and performance. With analytics, you’ll be able to measure the success of our content strategy.
